My story in this anthology is called Apache Valentine. Because this is a 3 author anthology, the stories are all longer, about the size of a category romance book. So I got to develop my characters a little more deeply than in the shorter novellas. I am REALLY proud of this story - as in my first "Indian romance", (Free Falling has a surfer dude Apache who would rather be snowboarding than leading a war party), Jacob is hardly stereotypical. Kind of an incredibly handsome Woody Allen Apache. He spends his time irritating his captors with rules & regulations. (He went to Harvard Law) And Heather was a total delight from the beginning, when she decides to integrate their cultures by instigating a frog race. Their first kiss is my favorite first kiss scene of all time.
