“In the barbarian, a prince. And in the princess, a barbarian.”
| Ariana of Valenwood is captured by a strange race of Automon, then delivered to a planet orbiting one of the mysterious Dark Suns. There, she and the other captives are thrown in amongst wild, barbarian men - and Ariana is claimed as the 'prize' of the cavern leader. |
Here's a link to a review by Leslie Tramposch with a really nice synopsis at Paranormal Romance

links to the past:
(characters & places from my previous trilogy)
I should
add, for their fans, that, yes, in fact
the Lingbats DO appear in the story...
(although in the second half this time)
Lord of the Dark Sun brings back the elderly bat, Carob,
and introduces his grandson, Pip (named for my favorite LOTR character)
In this story, the true nature of Lingbats is finally revealed, & a little
surprise about the seemingly youthful Dane
(He's well on his way to becoming a Lingbat himself & he & Carob are
a lot closer to being brothers.)
You'll also meet Dane's handsome but more serious son, Hakon (pronounced 'Hawk-en')
Visit Arnoth's now flourishing Valenwood,
where Arnoth must face the same issues he faced with his own father-in-law
& follow his strong but impulsive daughter Ariana into Unchartered Space...
